Laura Gettys's Race Listing

The first 1.25 mile was the end of the Dog Days Community workout where we ran a couple of steep hills - one of them backwards. Managed to hang in there on the hills except the last part of the last one. Very hot evening. The rest of the run was relatively flat but had a stiff wind going in one direction.

Good luck in our Double Road Race. Have you set a goal?
Bob Anderson 6/25/13 6:49 pmNot really, other than finishing both with a respectable time. Maybe beating my best 15K time would be a good goal. I'd normally strive for something a little tougher, but I was battling a foot injury over the past couple of months and my weekly mileage has suffered greatly. My doc thinks arthritis. Hope the foot problem is something I can manage without it affecting my running long term!
