This photo was taken at about the half mile mark of the Clarksburg Half Marathon Nov 11, 2012.  Many of these runners will be running the Pleasanton CA Double Road Race December 23rd.  Daniel Tapia (bib 395) won this race in 1:05:40 and will be running the Double.  Others in the group who have already confirmed for Pleasanton include Cheyne Inman (bib 196) 1:08:34, Jose Morales (bib 278) 1:12:59, and Ivan Median (bib 5) 1:10:33.  The men's Double Road Race world record is 49:15 (33:41 10k leg and 15:34 5k leg) set June 16, 2012 in Puerto Vallarata Mexico by Carlos Fernando Gonzalez Quintero.  The Double Road Race Federation is offering a $500 bonus for a new world record.  Same for the women.  That women's record is 55:02 (36:45 10k leg and 18:17 5k leg) set the same day by Monica Solorzano.  These records are bound to fall in Pleasanton.  photo by Catherine Cross
