| Fitness Statement | I'm a twenty year old full-time college student, and I also work part time as a Behavior therapist for children with Autism and Down-Syndrome. I joined a gym early this year (February 2011) to maintain my fitness and become more toned. I've struggled all my life with body image and weight issues-- been on diets on and off since the 4th grade, and now I finally want to just be healthy and work out to make myself feel happy. I do cardio for about 30minutes - 1 hour and then work on either my arms or abs. My favorite class is Zumba :) |

Went to the gym after work and did the stationary bikes there for 35 minutes on the medium level. Did 10.5 miles, which was a new record for me! Last time I went on, I only got to about 6 or 7 miles before being worn out. After that, I did lunges while holding hand-weights, and the nswitched to lifting weights both by standing up and squatting, and then laying down and pushing the bar up. Lastly, I did ab work by doing crunches and this one machine where you lift your knees to your chest and then back down.
