I am a late bloomer. I was 63 when I started running. I have not stopped since. I have run marathons on all seven continents. I love to combine running with travel to exotic places. Sometimes I still dream of improving my PRs but it is getting more difficult. I run everything from 1 mile to 50 miles, preferably on trails. To keep the old body going I am doing cross training (core, spinning, yoga) too. Hans became the oldest winner of the Dipsea 7.5 tail race in 2012. The Dipsea is a handicap race that has been run since 1905. It starts in Mill Valley and goes to Stinson Beach, CA. Hans got a 23 minute head start based on his age. "This is one for the old guys," said Hans.
