runnerFinished the Lake Merced 4.5 Mile race feeling strong! Started easy and picked up the pace to clock in 28:13 (6:16min/mile). That was right after a great swim!

runnerDid great by staying on the course at a 6min/mile pace, but even failed to maintain that pace and finished the 6 mile race at 37:54, 6:19pace. I felt great knowing that no major injury was occuring and could continue towards my next Duathlon race on August 9 with Wolfgang Pack Events. About an injury: I felt the Hallucis muscle (a muscle in between the ball of my feet,) over used because of swimming drills. I will continue to monitor how I can help maintain a recovery while working on other sports and drills.

runnerI am officially a Triathlete! Finished Strong at the WILDFLOWER TRIATHLON 2014 Sprint Mountain bike distance a super fast sprint to finish. (with a potential disqualification because I didn't start in my wave, there's a 6-9minute discrepancy) Taking 60th overall and 10th on the run! the run part was only 2.0 miles, but a great start! Chris Legh, a male world class pro took 1st with a astonishing time! *Photos coming soon!
