Notes: good 10K leg. it was cold but i had warmed up well for it. for the 5K leg I should have done a full 20-30 minute warm-up instead of just 10 min. it seems my body had cooled down pretty completely at half time. as a result going out at what i thought was a conservative 8 min / mi pace (about my first leg pace) turned out to be too fast and I blew up at the start of mile 2, barely holding on to a sub 8:30 pace, then finally climbing my pace back toward 8:00 with a half mile left.
