Notes: Pleasantly cool, breezy. Better than predicted. My alibis were ready: Covid vaccination, low iron. I got off with a good start but was sluggish by mile nine. I needed either to throw in the towel or finish like I had a plan. I chose the latter and ran the last 5K faster than my age group 5K course record. I am looking forward to resolving the iron issue and having another go.
