Two loop course for the 10k, with a hill that will test your stamina. 5k is one loop course...so must run hill 3 times!

Notes: Almost did not make it on-time, as I got lost on way to race...but arrived with only 10 minutes to spare...whew!!!! Did not warm up before 10K, so used first 2 miles as a warm-up, till I got my legs moving. Struggled up the hill, with several runners passing me, but was able to open my stride on downhill...had a strong finish in the 10K, passing several runners in the last mile. Struggled with my pace in the 5K due to extreme effort in the 10K. Very tight right calf in 10K. Problem with right hip for last 2 weeks...in pain when arise and get out of bed, but OK after some walking to loosen up?
