Notes: 5 1/2 minutes faster than when I first ran it in 2011. I put sheet metal screws in an old pair of Inov8 shoes and they worked great as the temp was cold and the snow was firm pack. The combination of cool air and high elevation kept me from pushing real hard and walking quick is more efficient much of the way up. Only passed by one skier on the downhill/flat to finish. 3rd runner with 4 skiers ahead of me.
