"It was still a fun run and I'd do it again - even thought the A's lost to the Mariner's afterwards. I hadn't run more than twice since the Oakland half, so I felt pretty good about my finish. It was pretty warm out and I had coffee this morning and we're doing the PPIE run on Sunday, so I didn't go as hard as I could have because I wanted to be able run tomorrow without too much suffering :)"

"Inaugural Oakland A's Playball 5k by Corrigan/SVE timing. Fun event with cool sponsors at the finish line. Organization needed a little help. streaming starting line was very unusual and no-one told anyone what was going on with that, so you just had to figure it out yourself. Zero course monitors off the Coliseum Complex property and zero course markings anywhere. No course monitors meant no crowd control to tell slower folks to stay to one side which made for lots of weaving in and out to get past folks. "
