Easy run today after a hard workout in the weight room. Toning the upper body - it is almost swim suit season here! :-)

Telework day so I got to run from home on the rolling hills of Maryland - always a welcome change from the flat land running in DC!

Ran with Steve again today on the National Mall. The rain helped reduce the number of tourists and allowed us a chance to really kick out the jams on the last couple of miles!

Ran at lunch time with my running pal Steve. We did a brisk tempo run down the National Mall, past the Washington Monument, the WWII Memorial, up to the Lincoln Memorial, down along the Potomac River, past the Jefferson Memorial, the Tidal Basin the Holocaust Museum and back down the National Mall past the Smithsonian Castle, the Hirschorn Art Museum, the Air Space Museum and the American Indian Museum.

I am so lucky to have such an interesting running route! Of course this time of year we have to share it with thousands of tourists and school tour groups! Of course I guess you could say it is good training for running in big races with a crowded field!

run This sounds like a great course....

runnerMarc, this is great and ties in well with one of my planned tips. Hope you don't mind if I use your race feedback as an example. Richard is right! We need to see more of this type of information on our site. Keep up the great running.

runnerit looks like some characters from copy/paste on a Mac, can you try clicking on the red button at the top left of ujena fit club home page, which reads "Personal Updates and Comments" then put the race recap in the box at the very top that reads Click here to post your comment... - then we can see what you are posting. thanks!

runnerMarc, good to have you part of the Ujena Fit Club. That's cool that you started reading Runner's World in 1975. Our computer found a lot of your races. Check to make sure we didn't make any mistakes and add those that are missing. Keep us posted on your workouts...Bob
