Fitness StatementFor me, the commitment is daily and I run indoors or outdoors 6 or 7 days most weeks. I usually run for 1 hour minimum and I know that running is the thing that keeps me sane and ready to take on the world.

Running AchievementsI normally place within the top 25 percent within my age group regardless of distance. My current favorite distance is 10 miles, and I ran a 10 miler in September 2014 that was difficult and immensely satisfying.

12 miles along the American River this morning, trying to prepare for half marathon in 3 weeks. It was a lovely, overcast morning and the fresh air was restorative after so many dry weeks.
