Fitness StatementRight now I am in the midst of training for the New York Marathon in November, logging somewhere between 70 and 90 miles per week. Just won a 22 mile trail race a week ago and ran a 1:27 half marathon in the beginning of August (3rd in my age group). The races I am running here while visiting family is just a part of my training without specially preparing for them.

Running AchievementsUsually I finish high in my age group in local races but I think my biggest achievement was when I started training for my first Marathon. I was overweight and started out from 0. In six months I lost through training 14 kilos and finished in 3:17 hours.
