Fontana Half Marathon

It was a perfect day for racing through the canyon to city hall this morning. Buses started leaving at 5am and over 1000 runners made the trip to the starting line. The overall male winner was Jose Lopez (bib no 2177) in 1:11:58. Second place went to 50 year-old Danny Arteaga. He ran 1:16:10. First female was Ginna Ladd in 1:21:41. 64-year-old Bob Anderson (in read 147) finished 35th overall and first 60 plus in 1:26:27. This was his 24th race out of 50 of the year. Fitness StatementStudio Workout with a trainer three more times a week or three to 6 hours per week. I am not currently running because of some feet issues but I walk and hike regularly. I know the importance of being fit.

Yep, I worked out this morning for an hour at Shawsu Fit Studio. Worked out with my trainer Ajay... Lots of ab workout.

Back From a four day Disney Land trip and I am so happy to be working out all the kinks at my workout studio! I think I was on too many roller coster rides because I kinda ach all over from holding on so tight and being jerked around on the rides! I feel like Disney Land was a work out all by it's self including all the walking I did!

Up at 5:15am and worked out at the 6am Strength Training class by Amanda! It included some cardio introvols along with some circuit training for a overall workout, one hour. Personal training from Ajay. He helped me with some wrist strengthening because I'm not sure my wrist has recovered to 100% from when I fractured it last March. I continued for a full hour of more weight and some cardio on the rower.

Worked it out at the Shawsu Fitness Studio this morning... I have been really bad about posting my workouts, but I am putting in at least three hours a week! The classes I attend are Strength Training and then a personal work out with my trainer to stay on track with my personal goals. I also add a massage once a week.

I'm feeling pretty good! Can't complain about anything in general and that is a good thing! I worked out for two hours this morning.. First hour with Amanda and Shawsu has a new fitness challenge so I did my first workout to establish a base and in a couple of weeks we will test again.. It consists of a 200 meter row, plank, squat, bending squat, and pushups. I really did well so I will have to work hard to improve! 1 star is the losest and 5 star was the highest and I aveargd 3 star. No bad! My second hour was with my trainer Ajay and we did a lot of cross training concentrating on some overal stretch/strength movements and core work.

Great to be back to my 8 A.M. Strength Training classes on Monday and Wednesday at Shawsu Fit Studio .. I am going to still make my 6 A.M. workouts on Tuesday and Thursday along with my additional workout with my trainer one hour a week! Feeling great and getting stronger!

run You really have found a good exercise studio. Great staff...

runnerI have been so busy with UjENA Swimwear preparing for our photo shoot leaving on October 23rd and extra makeup jobs that I haven't been posting as I should... I am getting up every morning and getting in my workouts at Shawsu as usual.. Strength Training on Monday (1 Hr.) and Wednesday (1 1/2 Hr.). Always start out with cardio intervols and lots of cercuit strength training with a quality cool down and stretch. I also workout with my trainer on Tuesday for about an hour and half! We concentrated on more core and ab work along with more cardio! Looking forward to Friday morning too. Thursday I take off and reward all my hard work with a message! Taking my vitamins and drinking loots of water.. I now need to get in more sleep!

runnerI went to my first Chi Gong Class... Very interesting and I think I like it... I am doing a 5 week corse attending once a week.
