The Bob Anderson 15k Challenge is unique in that runners complete the 10k at 7:30am and then runs the 5k at 9:00am. Times are added together to determine the winners.
The Challenge has only been run three times, all in Mexico (Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo). The best time so far was posted by Guadalupe Villarreal. He ran the 10k in 33:18 and then ran 16:14 for the 5k for a total time of 49:32 in Cancun (March 5, 2011).
The best time by a female was set June 18, 2011 in Puerto Vallarta. Ema Joya finished the 10k in 40:31 and then ran 19:20 for the 5k for a total time of 59:51.
