Training Runs in Ferndale CA

We stayed at the Victorian Inn located in Ferndale California for two nights before the Ave of the Giants Half Marathon.  Ferndale is about 30 minutes north of the start.  The city contains dozens of well-preserved Victorian store fronts and homes.  Founded 150 years ago it offers lots for the runner.  Flat to hilly courses for runs of any distance.  This is where we stay when running the Ave.  This was race number 20 for Bob Anderson.  Photos by Catherine Cross and Waitman Gobble
